Personal Style

Love who you are and love what you wear.

I’ll be the first to admit that when growing up, I was always embarrassed because we couldn’t afford the latest and greatest that Abercrombie & Fitch (or Wet Seal) had to offer.

Instead of thrifting for “rich people” castaways, I went the other way and spent way too much money over the years. Spending my hard-earned money on influencer recs, shein hauls, and countless mall trips.

And you know what? Everything I bought of the years was all crap. Awful construction, terrible fabric content, often shrunk after one wash, hurt my feet, and so on.

Telling it like it is. No shame if you do that. Remember, I’ve been there. Let’s see how we can shift that perspective and shine light on alternatives.

Here’s what I did.

I learned about fabric content, construction. I got into thrifting and had strict standards (+ budgets to adhere to). I defined my personal style.

So in this section of Calmly Curated, you’ll do the same!

I’d love to show you how exciting it can be to get dressed in the morning, how intentionally shopping can change your life, and (hopefully) turn off the influencers of the “influencers” in your life.

Welcome to slow fashion. Curated, personal style. And escaping the trends.

Welcome to Calmly Curated.
